i don't want to deal with this anymore

food--planning, preparing, choosing, digesting
money--saving, spending, watching
work stress--personality clashes, political hiring/firing, lazy/unaware workers
mom nonboundaries--don't even get me started
political disagreements--healthcare, wall street, finance, taxes, meaniepants, bigots, hatred, nonlisteners

that's enough for now. thank you for listening. or at least reading.

Love your header. That's exactly how it feels right now.

And I'm sorry about these stresses. I hear you. My list might vary a bit . . . but I hear you.

Um. Yes. This is why I sew instead of read or listen to the news, eat lots of sandwiches, cereal and crockpot meals instead of really cooking, and have the bills set to auto-pay as much as possible. I'd like fewer stressful things to deal with when I'm exhausted, thanks.

Maybe you just need a trip down this way to calm your mind. :)

I really think that sometimes you just have to turn off the news. The whole industry is about spreading panic and gloom. I find listening to a little Motown or Beatles lightens the mood. Have you ever heard, "I Want To Hold Your Hand" in German?

We learned to sing "I Want to Hold Your Hand" in my 8th grade German class, actually. Komm gibt mir deine hand, or something like that. We performed it for the school talent show. :)
